Meet The Team

Brad Headshot
Brad Odom, BA, BC-HIS
Owner/ Hearing Instrument Specialist

Brad Odom is not just a professional in the field of audiology; he’s a dedicated advocate for better hearing and a beacon of compassion in the community. As the owner and Hearing Instrument Specialist at Sound Solutions Hearing Care, Brad’s mission is clear: to make a positive difference in people’s lives, one smile at a time.

Brad’s journey to his current role has been shaped by a diverse background that underscores his commitment to relationships and technology. Having navigated multiple high schools and colleges, Brad learned invaluable lessons in the art of friendship and connection. Remarkably, he still treasures the bond he formed with his first friend at the tender age of three, a testament to his enduring loyalty and warmth.

Fuelled by a passion for understanding how things work, Brad immersed himself in physics and electronics during his academic years. His early encounter with computers, back when screens boasted a mere 16 colors in 1977, laid the foundation for his profound understanding of the intricate technology behind hearing aids. Today, Brad seamlessly integrates cutting-edge advancements into his practice, ensuring his patients receive the best possible care.

Since relocating to South Carolina with his parents in 1982 and graduating from Clover High near Rock Hill, Brad has become an integral part of the community. Beyond his professional endeavors, Brad finds solace in the great outdoors, indulging in activities like hiking, camping, boating, and the simple joy of conversing with a friend on the porch.

Yet, Brad’s commitment to service extends far beyond personal interests. As a longstanding member of Rotary and the current president of the SC Hearing Aid Society, Brad embodies the spirit of giving back. His past leadership roles in organizations like Willamson Park and his dedicated coordination of the annual Reindeer Run in Conway reflect his unwavering dedication to making a difference wherever he can.

For Brad, a great day isn’t measured by accolades or achievements; it’s defined by the impact he has on others. Inspired by Winston Churchill’s timeless words, “We make a living by what we get. We make a life by what we give,” Brad believes in the power of compassion and caring. At Sound Solutions Hearing Care, Brad and his team are distinguished by their unwavering commitment to excellence and their genuine concern for each and every patient. Whether you’re seeking better hearing or simply a friendly face, Brad Odom and his team are here to guide you on your journey to better hearing and a brighter tomorrow.

Lisa Odom
Office Manager

Meet Lisa, a dedicated Bookkeeper and HR professional who thrives in the remote work environment. With a knack for numbers and a passion for people, Lisa finds fulfillment in her role at Sound Solutions Hearing Care.

Working from the comfort of her home not only allows Lisa to excel in her career but also grants her the precious flexibility to prioritize her family. Whether it’s attending her sons’ or grandsons’ school events or cheering them on in their sports endeavors, she cherishes these moments and considers herself immensely fortunate.

Lisa’s journey to her current position is paved with diverse experiences. Having previously worked in both banking and the medical field, she brings a unique perspective to her role as a bookkeeper. This varied background has equipped her with valuable insights that she seamlessly applies to her responsibilities at Sound Solutions Hearing Care.

Having settled in the area three years ago, Lisa views her move as part of the grand plan all along. When she’s not crunching numbers or managing HR tasks, you can find her immersed in her passion for arts and crafts. From painting to sculpting with clay, she delights in creating with her hands and finds joy in every project she undertakes.

While Lisa may not be actively involved in civic organizations herself, she finds fulfillment in supporting her husband, Brad, in his endeavors. Spirituality plays a significant role in LIsa’s life, with daily devotions on her back porch and a profound belief in God’s guidance.

For Lisa, a great day is one where she’s able to make someone else’s day better. Her ethos is encapsulated by the words of Maya Angelou: “Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.”
